Jeremy Clark. Andy Scott. Ben Butterworth. Jack Butterworth. John Irlam. Bob Baker. Glen Gosling. Simon Hartley. Alan O’connor. James the dog minder. Many thanks guys, your input tonight will help make the Vesty trial a cracker. Oh and Rosie B says thankyou for giving her the best adventure she ever had.
At last nights sparsely attended club night whilst discussing past events it’s was noted that we are still not encouraging spectators at our trials, if you have friends & family that want see what goes on the club would encourage them to sign on as an observer, last Sunday’s trial at Warmden had 3 sections without observers unfortunately one being the best section available on that land i.e. the gulley section, like wise if you are wanting to ride our trials but have no experience observing is the way to get close to the action. We have over 100 members so shortage of helpers shouldn’t be an issue really, although there was a number of other trials on last Sunday & that would’ve had an impact on the number of riders & observers, so if you can help us run our trials please help YOUR club out.
The clubs organising a work party for the Vesty trial venue on the 16th June please contact Trevor if you free to help.
I earnt that one today. Just finished sorting the flags left for me in a pile by the gate, thanks guys. 7.30 start 6pm finish, not bad for a 40 rider club trial. I even missed my post trial beer with Silverback and Diesel Bri. Nice to see our ex chairman Ian Wallbank back out holding a board for us. Also Steve Stephen Collinson knocking some rocks about again and Adrian Thompson riding round for 12???? I’ve seen him lose more than that in one section over 4 laps. Michelle overcame the wobbly knocking knees on my section with a clean on the last lap after a 5,3,5 previous laps and her whooping and hollering as she rode away made my day. I hope you all had a good day. Next up the big one. The Vesterinen Trophy Trial. Any members of the club not riding in it we could do with your help. 20 sections on a punch card system means 2 observers per section, 1 scoring, 1 clipping. We have over 20 come forward up to now but the more the easier it will be to get a result out on the day and be able to award some trophies. Please either get in touch with me or Jeremy to volunteer. TIA. T B
Rain here today so we got away with that one. Results will be out this evening, thanks to Andy Scott, he was away at the Reliance trial yesterday hope he had a good ride. Thanks to Alan Mills and Steve Thomas for setting out. Jonathan Feber for the use af his land, Neil Rushton and Tony for organising the observers. Jeremy Clark for sorting the monies out and you lot for turning up and riding.
Entry forms for Walden on the 6th June are now on the Entries page to be found on the top menu
